CYPRUS SWIM SERIES’S DATA RETENTION POLICY

Cyprus Swim Series is determined to ensure the accuracy, confidentiality and security of the personal data the company processes on you. This retention policy is intended to inform you about the retention time of the personal data the company processes on you. This data retention policy applies to the personal data of Cyprus Swim Series’ customers. This policy will refer to Cyprus Swim Series as we or us and to customers as you. 1. PURPOSE AND LEGALITY

Cyprus Swim Series endeavours to meet the requirements of all applicable data protection legislation and this policy is based on the Cyprus Act no. 2016/679 on the protection of privacy as regards to the processing of personal data (“Data Protection Legislation”), as amended.


2. RETENTION OF PERSONAL DATA

Cyprus Swim Series will endeavour to retain your personal data only for as long as necessary for the purpose of processing, unless otherwise permitted or obligated by law.

Booking Information: Retained for 10 years from the date of travel due to possible claims.

Payment Information (Payment, Invoices, Refunds, etc.): Retained for 7 years in compliance with accounting laws.

Service Surveys: Retained for 2 years.

Cookies: Duration based on customer consent. Refer to the cookie policy for more details.

Newsletter: Retained for 10 years, subject to customer consent.

 

Further retention of personal data should be lawful only when it is compatible with the purposes for which it was originally collected.
