Cyprus Swim Series – Pissouri 3rd Edition 2026
The Cyprus Swim Series Pissouri 3rd Edition is an international open-water swimming festival held on 13–15 November 2026 at Pissouri Beach, in front of Columbia Beach Resort. Over three days it offers races for every age and level: the 0.5 km Kids race, the 1.25 km Juniors race, the 3 km Challenge race, the 5 km Endurance race and the 8 km Endurance and Relay races. The event includes a pre-race safety briefing, professional timing, and lifeguard and medical cover.
The project is implemented under the Programme “Maritime, Fisheries and Aquaculture 2021-2027” and is co-funded by the European Union.

Objectives
- Promote Pissouri and its coastline as a destination for sustainable, sea-based sport tourism outside the peak summer season.
- Support the local coastal economy by bringing participants and visitors from Cyprus and abroad to the area.
- Encourage safe open-water swimming and a closer connection with the sea among children, young people and adults.
- Raise awareness of the value of the marine environment and the need to protect it.
Expected results
- A safe, well-organised international open-water event with races for all ages and abilities.
- Greater visibility for Pissouri as a coastal sport-tourism destination, in Cyprus and internationally.
- Participation of children and young swimmers through dedicated Kids and Juniors races.
- Business for local accommodation, food and service providers during the event weekend.
